Our vision as an academy is excellence in character, curriculum and community. For this reason. each term we identify students who have gone above and beyond for our academy, or the local community and these students receive the coveted virtue badge award. This half-term the following students received awards:
Sophia Harris and Lottie Hetherington won a Love Virtue award for raising money for their football club so that they could purchase new kit. A wodnerful way to serve their community.
Elise Baldwin, Emma Pearson, Hayden Alexander-Reynolds, Mia Craigs, Evie Purdie, Emily Ainsley, Emily Conley and Neve Hardy all received a Courage Virtue award for giving up almost a full month of break time and lunch times to dispose of old library books and organise and re-stock it again. Their efforts have hugely developed reading at our academy and we are enormously grateful for their heroic efforts over this term!
