Last week at the ‘LOVE Northumberland Awards ceremony hosted by the Duchess of Northumberland at Alnwick Garden, Bede Academy did the town of Blyth proud by winning their category, ‘Best Young People’s Project’.
This was deservedly awarded for the school’s contribution to making Blyth cleaner and greener during their recent Personal Development Week. At Friends of Crofton Field benefitted from a wide range of tasks carried out by 200 Year 7 and Year 9 pupils during PD Week 2025.
We extend our thanks to our PD team who organised it all so effectively, to the members of staff who accompanied the pupils and above all to the pupils who worked so hard to make a big improvement to the health and appearance of Crofton Field.
