On Monday 7th April, nearly 70 students took to the stage for our annual Spring Concert, showcasing a variety of talent from both soloists and ensembles. The Academy Orchestra opened the evening with ‘Jupiter’ from the Planets Suite, and the evening was punctuated by inspiring performances by our other ensembles, including Drum Club, Jazz Band, Brass Club, and Guitar Club.
There was an impressive array of instrumental solos, including a confident violin piece by Grace T (Year 7), a mesmerising marimba display by Harry T (Year 8), and a challenging Grade 8 performance on the drums by Josie A (in Year 9). We also heard a strong line-up of vocalists and duets, and an electric performance by the student-led band, Pandora.
A special highlight of the night was the tantalising teaser for our upcoming production of The Addams Family. Tickets can be purchased by following the link: Link
Well done to all of our performers – thank you for putting on such a strong evening of entertainment!
