For the final service of 2024-25, we celebrated on God in us. It is God at work in use that enables our lives to bear fruit, and it is that fruit which we celebrated today. We awarded special awards in memory of some much-loved and much-missed people who helped make Bede the special place it is. We celebrated academic excellence, endeavour and improvement. We celebrated the victrix and victor ludorum (winner of the games) and we awarded our most significant and prestigious awards of the year.
We were again reminded of what a remarkable community Bede Academy is and how together we help each other to flourish. It was a celebration of everyone in our community on our journey to ‘fullness of life’: the promise of God with and for and in us all.
