This week Year 7 focused on our Well-being strand. Their session looked at staying safe around Bonfire Night and we are very grateful to West Hartford Blue Watch for their expert input. The fire crew explained the risks, best ways to avoid them and answered some intelligent questions. They made clear that our local fire station only has two engines, so hoax calls or anti-social behaviour can have devastating consequences. Because of their time with us, we know that each child has benefitted from the experience of people who risk their lives to protect them. We all expressed our gratitude in a round of applause and we hope that everyone gets to enjoy Bonfire Night to the full this year.
