Last week, after 9 months of rehearsals, Footloose took to the stage, giving evening performances on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening, as well as an afternoon matinee for Year 6 students.
Students wowed with their dancing, singing, and, most notably, acting, and they impressed so much that tickets for the final night were sold out by Thursday evening! Over 800 audience members came through our doors, with some praising the production as “incredible”,“ dynamic”, and “a triumph!”. At the close of the run, Mr Thelwell reviewed the performance as purely “joyous”, and commended the cast and crew for putting on such an impressive and professional production. We are incredibly proud of all students involved, both on stage and behind the scenes, and are excited to see what comes next!
