Year 13 T level students. 6 of our students have secured placements with Newcastle NHS trust (along with the 7 at Northumbria NHS trust). Our students are the first ever T level students to complete placements at Newcastle and they were excellent ambassadors for the Academy during their induction. They will have a 4-week rotation of various wards at the Freeman and RVI as well as taster days at a range of other services. Special thanks to staff from Northumbria University particularly Julie Derbyshire and the Practice education team at Newcastle NHS trust for facilitating excellent placements for our students.
